FC Index of Keqiao’s textile on April 24th was 106.14, down 0.19% from the prior week, down 0.39% compared with the beginning of 2023, down 2.20% compared with the same period last year.
Marketing of China Textile City falls. Amount price of raw material market rises compared with last week, amount price of grey cloth market rises compared with last week, amount price of garment fabric market’s cloth falls, transaction amount price of home textile products rises, and the price of accessories falls.
Firstly, raw material market rises compared with last week. The price of polyester fabric is stable and the price of 100%cotton yarn rises.
FC Index of raw material is 83.17this week, up 0.19% from the prior week, up 0.05% compared with the beginning of 2023,down 7.71% compared with the same period last year.
1.Polyester raw material rises and the price of polyester is stable.
FC Index of polyester raw material rises compared with last week. PTA stocks in East China are mainly 6380 yuan/ton, 41 yuan/ton higher than last week. MEG is mainly 4120 yuan/ ton, 40 yuan/ton higher than last week; Market quote of polyester chip is stable. Cash or acceptance of March of semi-gloss slice in Jiangsu and Zhejiang is about 7150 yuan/ton, which is the same as last week. The price of PFY in Xiaoshan and Shaoxing is stable.
The price of polyester fiber falls compared with last week. The price of 1.4D×38MM direct spinning polyester fiber in Jiangsu and Zhejiang is mainly 7410 yuan/ ton, 50 yuan/ton lower than last week. The market quote of 100% polyester yarn keeps stable in some areas and rises in other areas. The price of 32S 100% polyester yarn is 12000 yuan/ ton, which is the same as last week. The price of 45S 100% polyester yarn is 12800 yuan/ ton, 100 yuan/ton higher than last week.
2.The transactions of 100%cotton yarn rises in some areas and keeps stable in other areas, and the price of rayon yarn is stable.
Market quote of 100%cotton yarn in Xiaoshan and Shaoxing rises in some areas and keeps stable in other areas. The price of rotor spinning 10S 100%cotton yarn is 16000 yuan/ton, about 100 yuan/ton lower than last week. The price of carded T/C65/35 32S polyester cotton yarn is 15900 yuan/ton, about 100 yuan/ton higher than last week. The price of combed 40S polyester cotton yarn is 17100 yuan/ton, about 100 yuan/ton higher than last week.
The price of viscose staple fiber is stable. The price of 1.5D×38mm viscose staple fiber is about 13200 yuan/ton, which is the same as last week. The price of rayon yarn is stable. The quote of 30S rayon yarn is about 17050 yuan/ton, which is the same as last week. The quote of 40S rayon yarn is about 18100 yuan/ton, which is the same as last week.
Secondly, the market of grey cloth rises, and its FC Index rises.
FC Index of grey cloth is 123.29 this week, up 0.50% from the prior week, down 1.00% compared with the beginning of 2023, up 0.61% compared with the same period last year.
Marketing rises compared with last week. Orders and shipments of chemical fiber grey cloth rise compared with last week, and its price rises. Transaction amount price of polyester yarn grey cloth, polyester spinning grey cloth, polyester crepe grey cloth, polyester linen grey cloth and polyester satin grey cloth rises compared with last week. So total FC Index of grey cloth rises.
Thirdly, garment fabric falls, and its FC Index falls.
FC Index of garment fabric is 116.60 this week, down 0.72% from the prior week, down 0.44% compared with the beginning of 2023, down 0.33% compared with the same period last year.
FC Index of garment fabric falls. Sales of garment fabric of China Textile City’s fabric market fall, and transactions decrease. Transaction amount price of 100% cotton fabric, polyester fabric, polyester cotton fabric, polyester wool fabric, polyester rayon fabric, polyester nylon fabric and polyester spandex fabric falls. So total FC Index of garment fabric falls slightly.
Fourthly, home textile market rises, and FC Index rises.
FC Index of home textile is 102.00 this week, up 0.08% from the prior week, up 0.13% from the beginning of 2023, up 0.34% from the same period last year.
FC Index of home textile rises this week. Marketing of home textiles of China Textile City rises. Spot transactions and orders of bedding and window screens and their FC Index rises. So total FC Index of home textile rises.
Fifth, accessories market falls sequentially, and FC Index falls compared with last week.
FC Index of accessories is 132.21 this week, down 0.14% from the prior week, down 0.71% compared with the beginning of 2023, down 2.99% compared with the same period last year.
FC Index of accessories falls slightly this week. As stocks of downstream enterprises decrease, market transactions fall compared with last week, transactions of spot goods and shipments of orders fall compared with last week and FC index of accessories falls. Market and FC Index of lace, and garment linings fall. So total FC Index of accessories falls compared with last week.
Sixthly, the forecast of FC Index of aftermarket.
The whole market of China Textile City next week is expected to fall. Downstream orders are few, and downstream demand is few in some areas. The market is flat and purchase of fabrics decreases. Supply of spring fabrics decreases, and orders and shipments decrease. Operating rate of weaving factories falls and output of printing and dying enterprises decreases. It is expected that purchases of common products will decrease, and transactions of the whole market will decrease.
