FC Index of Keqiao’s textile on March 20th was 106.27, down 0.21% from the prior week, down 0.27% compared with the beginning of 2023, down 2.14% compared with the same period last year.
Marketing of China Textile City falls. Amount price of raw material market falls compared with last week, amount price of grey cloth market falls compared with last week, amount price of garment fabric market’s cloth rises, transaction amount price of home textile products rises, and the price of accessories rises.
Firstly, raw material market falls compared with last week. The price of polyester fabric falls and the price of 100%cotton yarn rises.
FC Index of raw material is 83.19 this week, down 0.41% from the prior week, up 0.07% compared with the beginning of 2023,down 8.23% compared with the same period last year.
1.Polyester raw material falls and the price of polyester falls.
FC Index of polyester raw material falls compared with last week. PTA stocks in East China are mainly 5619 yuan/ton, 241 yuan/ton lower than last week. MEG is mainly 4037.5 yuan/ ton, 102.5yuan/ ton lower than last week; Market quote of polyester chip falls. Cash or acceptance of March of semi-gloss slice in Jiangsu and Zhejiang is about 6575yuan/ton, 125yuan/ ton lower than last week. The price of PFY in Xiaoshan and Shaoxing falls. The quote of POY is 7470 yuan/ ton, 260 yuan/ ton lower than last week. The quote of FDY is 8550 yuan/ ton, 250 yuan/ ton lower than last week. The quote of DTY is 8800 yuan/ ton, 200 yuan/ ton lower than last week.
The price of polyester fiber falls compared with last week. The price of 1.4D×38MM direct spinning polyester fiber in Jiangsu and Zhejiang is mainly 7025 yuan/ ton, 215 yuan/ton lower than last week. The market quote of 100% polyester yarn falls. The price of 32S 100% polyester yarn is 11780 yuan/ ton, 20 yuan/ton lower than last week. The price of 45S 100% polyester yarn is 12600 yuan/ ton, 200 yuan/ton lower than last week.
2.The transactions of 100%cotton yarn falls, and the price of rayon yarn is stable in some areas and falls in other areas.
Market quote of 100%cotton yarn in Xiaoshan and Shaoxing falls. The price of rotor spinning 10S 100%cotton yarn is 16400 yuan/ton, which is the same as last week. The price of carded 32S 100% cotton yarn is 23580 yuan/ton, about 10 yuan/ton lower than last week. The price of combed 40S 100%cotton yarn is 25770 yuan/ton, which is the same as last week. The price of viscose staple fiber is stable. The price of 1.5D×38mm viscose staple fiber is about 13150 yuan/ton, which is the same as last week. The price of rayon yarn is stable in some areas and falls in other areas. The quote of 30S rayon yarn is about 17050 yuan/ton, which is the same as last week. The quote of 40S rayon yarn is about 18000 yuan/ton, which is the same as last week.
Secondly, the market of grey cloth falls, and its FC Index falls.
FC Index of grey cloth is 123.34 this week, down 1.00% from the prior week, down 0.96% compared with the beginning of 2023, up 0.48% compared with the same period last year.
Marketing falls compared with last week. Spot transactions and shipments of chemical fiber grey cloth fall compared with last week and its FC Index falls slightly. Transaction amount price of polyester yarn grey cloth, polyester grey cloth, polyester crepe grey cloth, polyester linen grey cloth and polyester satin grey cloth falls compared with last week. Market of blended fiber grey cloth falls. Market amount price of T/C yarn khaki grey cloth, T/C poplin grey cloth, polyester rayon grey cloth, polyester linen grey cloth and nylon cotton linen grey cloth falls. So total FC Index of grey cloth falls.
Thirdly, garment fabric rises, and its FC Index rises.
FC Index of garment fabric is 116.89 this week, up 0.12% from the prior week, down 0.19%compared with the beginning of 2023, up 0.13% compared with the same period last year.
FC Index of garment fabric rises. Sales of garment fabric of China Textile City’s fabric market rise, and transactions increase. Transaction amount price of 100% cotton fabric, polyester cotton fabric, polyester rayon fabric, polyester spandex fabric, rayon wool fabric, nylon fabric and linen rayon fabric rises. So total FC Index of garment fabric rises slightly.
Fourthly, home textile market rises, and FC Index rises.
FC Index of home textile is 101.86 this week, up 0.72% from the prior week, down 0.01% from the beginning of 2023, down 0.07% from the same period last year.
FC Index of home textile rises this week. Marketing of home textiles of China Textile City falls. Spot transactions and orders of bedding, daily home textiles and window screens and their FC Index rises. So total FC Index of home textile rises.
Fifth, accessories market rises sequentially, and FC Index rises compared with last week.
FC Index of accessories is 132.42 this week, up 0.12% from the prior week, down 0. 55% compared with the beginning of 2023, down 0.62% compared with the same period last year.
FC Index of accessories rises slightly this week. As stocks of downstream enterprises increase, market transactions rise compared with last week, transactions of spot goods and shipments of orders rise compared with last week and FC index of accessories falls. Market and FC Index of lace, thread ropes and garment linings fall. So total FC Index of accessories rises compared with last week.
Sixthly, the forecast of FC Index of aftermarket.
The whole market of China Textile City next week is expected to rise. Supply of spring fabrics increases, and orders and shipments increase. Orders of summer fabrics increase in some areas, but transactions of the whole market are few. Operating rate of weaving factories rises in some areas and output of printing and dying enterprises increases. It is expected that purchases of innovative products will increase, their price will rise and transactions of the whole market will increase.
