FC Index of Keqiao’s textile on January 9th was 106.41, down 0.14% from the prior week, down 0.14% compared with the beginning of 2023, down 1.69% compared with the same period last year.
Marketing of China Textile City falls. Amount price of raw material market rises compared with last week, amount price of grey cloth market falls compared with last week, amount price of garment fabric market’s cloth falls, transaction amount price of home textile products rises, and the price of accessories rises.
Firstly, raw material market rises compared with last week. The price of polyester fabric rises and the price of 100%cotton yarn rises in some areas and keeps stable in other areas.
FC Index of raw material is 83.33 this week, up 0.24% from the prior week, down 0.24% compared with the beginning of 2023,down 7.37% compared with the same period last year.
1.Polyester raw material rises in some areas and falls in other areas and the price of polyester rises.
FC Index of polyester raw material rises compared with last week. PTA stocks in East China are mainly 5310 yuan/ton, 230 yuan/ton lower than last week. MEG is mainly 3980 yuan/ ton, 20yuan/ ton higher than last week; Market quote of polyester chip rises. Cash or acceptance of March of semi-gloss slice in Jiangsu and Zhejiang is about 6475yuan/ton, 25yuan/ ton higher than last week. The price of PFY in Xiaoshan and Shaoxing rises. The quote of POY is 7450 yuan/ ton, 100 yuan/ ton higher than last week. The quote of FDY is 8700 yuan/ ton, 100 yuan/ ton higher than last week. The quote of DTY is 8700 yuan/ ton, 150 yuan/ ton higher than last week.
The price of polyester fiber falls compared with last week. The price of 1.4D×38MM direct spinning polyester fiber in Jiangsu and Zhejiang is mainly 6975 yuan/ ton, 100 yuan/ton lower than last week. The price of polyester fiber in Jiangsu and Zhejiang falls. The market quote of 100% polyester yarn rises. The price of 32S 100% polyester yarn is 11450 yuan/ ton, 50 yuan/ ton higher than last week. The price of 45S 100% polyester yarn is 12200 yuan/ ton, 200 yuan/ ton higher than last week.
2.The transactions of 100%cotton yarn rises in some areas and keeps stable in other areas, and the price of rayon yarn rises in some areas and keeps stable in other areas.
Market quote of 100%cotton yarn in Xiaoshan and Shaoxing rises in some areas and keeps stable in other areas. The price of rotor spinning 10S 100%cotton yarn is 15650 yuan/ton, which is the same as last week. The price of carded 32S 100% cotton yarn is 23155 yuan/ton, about 65 yuan/ton higher than last week. The price of combed 40S 100%cotton yarn is 25180 yuan/ton, about 80 yuan/ton higher than last week. The price of viscose staple fiber rises. The price of 1.5D×38mm viscose staple fiber is about 13000 yuan/ton, about 50 yuan/ton higher than last week. The price of rayon yarn rises in some areas and keeps stable in other areas. The quote of 30S rayon yarn is about 16650 yuan/ton, about 50 yuan/ton higher than last week. The quote of 40S rayon yarn is about 17600 yuan/ton, which is the same as last week.
Secondly, the market of grey cloth falls, and its FC Index falls.
FC Index of grey cloth is 123.90 this week, down 0.51% from the prior week, down 0.51% compared with the beginning of 2023, up 1.07% compared with the same period last year.
Marketing falls compared with last week. Spot transactions and shipments of Chemical fiber grey cloth fall compared with last week and its FC Index falls slightly. Demands and FC Index of natural fiber grey cloth fall compared with last week. Transactions of 100% cotton yarn khaki grey cloth, 100% cotton canvas grey cloth, 100% cotton poplin grey cloth and 100% Paris yarn grey cloth fall. Spot transactions and shipments of Chemical fiber grey cloth fall compared with last week and its FC Index falls slightly. Transaction amount price of polyester yarn grey cloth, polyester grey cloth, polyester crepe grey cloth, polyester linen grey cloth and polyester satin grey cloth falls compared with last week. So total FC Index of grey cloth falls.
Thirdly, garment fabric falls, and its FC Index falls.
FC Index of garment fabric is 116.79 this week, down 0.27% from the prior week, down 0.27%compared with the beginning of 2023, up 0.15% compared with the same period last year.
FC Index of garment fabric falls. Sales of garment fabric of China Textile City’s fabric market fall, and transactions decrease. Transaction amount price of polyester fabric, polyester cotton fabric, polyester wool fabric, polyester rayon fabric, polyester nylon fabric, polyester spandex fabric, rayon wool fabric, nylon fabric, and nylon fabric falls. So total FC Index of garment fabric falls slightly.
Fourthly, home textile market rises, and FC Index rises.
FC Index of home textile is 101.91 this week, up 0.04% from the prior week, up 0.04% from the beginning of 2023, up 0.07% from the same period last year.
FC Index of home textile rises this week. Marketing of home textiles of China Textile City rises. Spot transactions and orders of daily home textiles, curtains and window screens rise and their FC Index rises. So total FC Index of home textile rises.
Fifth, accessories market rises sequentially, and FC Index rises compared with last week.
FC Index of accessories is 134.29 this week, up 0.86% from the prior week, up 0. 86% compared with the beginning of 2023,up 2.29% compared with the same period last year.
FC Index of accessories rises slightly this week. As stocks of downstream enterprises increase, market transactions rise compared with last week, transactions of spot goods and shipments of orders rise compared with last week and FC index of accessories rises. Market and FC Index of thread ropes, garment linings, belts and lace fall. So total FC Index of accessories rises compared with last week.
Sixthly, the forecast of FC Index of aftermarket.
The whole market of China Textile City next week is expected to fall. As the end of the lunar year is approaching, the number of small and medium-sized textile factories which are in holidays rises and the operating rates fall. Shipment of operators in the China Textile city traditional market has been reduced day by day. Some operators open their shop late, and close it early. Some operators have closed their shop and go home. Affected by the domestic epidemic, the consignment market has a holiday in advance. Transactions of winter fabric decrease, orders of spring fabric decrease, and transactions of the whole market will decrease. China Textile City will be closed from January 15th to January 28th.
